A kind of extension of the operator
The robot has a manipulator which is a kind of extension of the operator’s hand, who, could not otherwise handle material’s tip when materials have rather thick sections.
It is equipped with a gripper that can be moved on 5 axis, so that, through the keyboard, the operator can pick the tip up from the coil, handle it to the desired direction, until it has been firmly introduced into the pre-straightener. All the operations are performed by hydrauilic system.
