Peeling line

SAS Engineering and Planning enlarged its offer adding to its range the design and realization of coil-to-bar, coil-to-coil and bar-to-bar Peeling Lines for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Peeling is a similar process as lathing. The machine, realized by SAS Engineering and Planning, removes the superficial surface of the bars through the application of machines equipped with peeling heads. The heads, on their turn, are equipped with cutting tools which rotate following the sense of the circumference, they “remove” the rolled bars.

This kind of processing allows to obtain a surface deprived of defects, so the product can then undergo a series of treatments according to the final usage the customer will make. SAS Engineering and Planning takes care of the maintenance and of the revamping of the Peeling Lines, completely designed and realized by the company in each component.
